I'm Your Man

Alma Felser (Maren Eggert), a scientist who needs research funding, agrees to a study that sends a humanoid robot to live in her home for three weeks. Tom (Dan Stevens) has been built around her personality and her needs, and his only purpose is to make her happy. Maria Schrader makes the film about the gap between being wanted and being known, since a companion designed to fit her can only offer what he was made to give.
