“The Gods need a hero.”

A peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill) is singled out by Zeus (Luke Evans) for reasons he cannot guess, and handed a war against a king he has never met. King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) is cutting a path across Greece for a weapon that could wipe out humanity, and Tarsem Singh stages the pursuit in saturated color and ornate costume. If Theseus does not stop him, there will be nobody left to remember either man.
