Impossible Things

“There are encounters that change your life”

In Mexico, Matilde (Nora Velázquez) is a widow whose abusive husband has finally died, leaving her alone in a house she has long kept quiet. Her closest company becomes Miguel (Benny Emmanuel), a young, insecure and disoriented neighbor who has just as little to hold onto. Ernesto Contreras lets their friendship develop in small, ordinary exchanges and keeps the camera close to both of them.
