In a Better World

A strange, fast friendship in a small Danish town pulls two boys together, and neither family can quite say why. Susanne Bier follows Elias (Markus Rygaard), a quiet schoolboy, and Christian (William Jøhnk Nielsen), the grieving new arrival who attaches himself to him. Elias's father Anton (Mikael Persbrandt) treats the sick in an African refugee camp, and he has to decide what kind of man his sons will learn to be.
