In a Land That No Longer Exists

A photograph taken by chance pulls Suzie (Marlene Burow) out of a cable factory in East Berlin in 1989, where she landed after being thrown out of school just before graduation. Elsa Wilbrodt (Claudia Michelsen), editor-in-chief of the magazine Sibylle, puts her on the cover. In the underground scene Aelrun Goette sets around her, Suzie falls in with the designer Rudi (Sabin Tambrea) and the photographer Coyote (David Schütter).
