In a Valley of Violence

“Keep your finger on the trigger.”

Paul (Ethan Hawke) is a drifter who wants to find the men who killed his friend, and the search takes him into a small town where the law answers to the Marshal (John Travolta). Mary Anne (Taissa Farmiga) and her sister Ellen (Karen Gillan) run the hotel and offer him a place to stay. Ti West sets it all out in dry, bleached daylight, with Paul riding toward a fight he won't walk away from.
