In Bloom

Eka (Lika Babluani) and Natia (Mariam Bokeria) are teenagers in Tbilisi in 1992, the first year of Georgia's independence, trying to get out of homes that never quiet down. Nana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Groß follow the two girls as they put childhood behind them and ignore what their society expects of them. Neither one can count on much from the adults around her, so each ends up leaning on the other.
