In Darkness

Leopold Soha (Robert Więckiewicz) is a thief and burglar in Nazi-occupied Lviv who cares about little beyond his own pocket. When Jewish refugees led by Mundek Margulies (Benno Fürmann) offer him money to hide them in the city's sewers, he takes the job for the pay. Agnieszka Holland keeps the group underground for fourteen months, and every day Soha stays with them, he risks his own life.
