In Good Company

In 2004, a corporate takeover at a magazine hands Dan Foreman (Dennis Quaid), a longtime advertising sales executive, a new boss who is half his age. Carter Duryea (Topher Grace) has never sold an ad and soon starts seeing Dan's daughter Alex (Scarlett Johansson), an eighteen-year-old college student. Paul Weitz keeps the story at the level of desks, meetings and dinner tables, where the awkwardness of the whole arrangement plays out.
