In Harihar Nagar

In Harihar Nagar, a fictional locality, four jobless bachelors share the days and a general lack of money. A new girl moves in next door, and Mahadevan (Mukesh), Govindankutty (Siddique), Appukuttan (Jagadish) and Thomaskutty (Ashokan) all find reasons to be outside. Then a stranger turns up asking for a missing box, and the four, who set out only to make an impression, are pulled into the search for it and can't walk away.
