In His Own Image

Antonia (Clara-Maria Laredo) is a photographer for a small Corsican newspaper, eager to document the lives around her and the political upheaval reshaping her island. De Peretti traces her through decades, from the 1980s onward, as her work and romances fold into the larger currents of Corsican history. She moves through these years watching and recording, never quite settled, finding that the person she becomes is not the one she set out to be.
