In My Mother's Skin

Tala (Felicity Kyle Napuli) is a young girl in the Philippines during World War II, left to care for her mother Ligaya (Beauty Gonzalez), who is dying. Kenneth Dagatan sets the story in the stranded household, where the girl meets a beguiling fairy (Jasmine Curtis-Smith) who offers her help. The fairy also feeds on flesh, and Tala has to decide how much to trust her before her mother is gone.
