In Our Time

Four stories open in four different decades, from the 1950s through the 1980s, each following a character somewhere between childhood and young adulthood. Ko I-chen and Chang Yi are two of the directors who share the film, and Hsiao-fen (An-ni Shih) and Chang Chi Fen (Emily Y. Chang) are among the people we follow. Every one of them has only a short stretch of years to grow up in before the decade moves on.
