In Search of the Castaways

“A Thousand Thrills, And Hayley Mills!”

Mary Grant (Hayley Mills) and her younger brother Robert set off across the world with Professor Paganel (Maurice Chevalier) to find their father, a sea captain lost in a shipwreck. Robert Stevenson adapts Jules Verne's 1868 novel for Disney, with Wilfrid Hyde-White as Lord Glenarvan and George Sanders as the sharp-eyed Ayerton. The children have nothing to go on but a faint trail, and every mile they cover is one more mile their father may not be alive to see.
