In the Earth

“Nature is a force of evil.”

A virus has swept the world, and Dr. Martin Lowery (Joel Fry) walks into the Arboreal Forest toward a research site called ATU327A, with park scout Alma (Ellora Torchia) guiding him. A night attack leaves them bruised and without their shoes, and Zach (Reece Shearsmith), a man living off the grid, offers help they are in no state to refuse. Ben Wheatley sets the forest's old folklore against the scientists' work until the two can no longer be told apart.
