In the Good Old Summertime

“Fall in love.”

Veronica Fisher (Judy Garland) works the counter at Oberkugen's, a music shop owned by the fussy, kind Otto Oberkugen (S.Z. Sakall), and she cannot stand her co-worker Andrew Delby Larkin (Van Johnson). Each of them also keeps up an anonymous correspondence with a stranger, and the letters are the best part of their week. Robert Z. Leonard shoots it in Technicolor, with songs and shop-floor comedy for a romance that runs through the mail.
