In the Line of Fire

“An assassin on the loose. A president in danger. Only one man stands between them…”

Thirty years after Dallas, Frank Horrigan (Clint Eastwood) is the last Secret Service agent still on active duty who stood in the detail guarding Kennedy. A caller who names himself Booth (John Malkovich) starts phoning with threats against the current President, and Horrigan asks to be put back on protection. Wolfgang Petersen keeps Frank in the field, a tired man with a bad knee and one old failure he has never put down.
