In the Middle of the Night

Benny (Kim Larsen) and Arnold (Erik Clausen) have no home of their own, so they squat in a building on Nørrebro in Copenhagen with a loose crowd of other people who have nowhere to go. Erik Balling, in the last film he directed, follows them to the night the police arrive to clear the place out. Benny has the music and the nerve, but a forced eviction takes both of them by surprise, and he has to decide who he is without that room.
