Father Adam (Andrzej Chyra) runs a centre for troubled boys in a small Polish parish, and the congregation loves him for it. They know nothing about the past he carries, or about the life he keeps closed off from everyone around him. Małgorzata Szumowska follows him among the boys, among them Łukasz (Mateusz Kościukiewicz), where the priest's quiet face gives away nothing.
