In the Name of Blood

In the working-class neighborhoods of Nice, a pillar of the Georgian community is murdered, leaving his widow and youngest son Tristan (Florent Hill) to grieve alone. Gabriel (Nicolas Duvauchelle), Tristan's older brother, returns from exile with a single purpose: to restore his family's honor through blood. Popkhadze builds the dread in close rooms and tight frames, watching men move toward an ending they cannot name or stop.
