In the Tall Grass

“Some places have a mind of their own.”

A boy's voice calls for help from deep inside a field of tall grass, and Becky DeMuth (Laysla De Oliveira), pregnant, pulls over beside an abandoned church with her brother Cal (Avery Whitted). They wade in after him. Vincenzo Natali, adapting the Stephen King and Joe Hill novella, has them realize the field has no edge they can find, and Becky is carrying a child she cannot get out of there.
