Indecent Proposal

“A husband. A wife. A millionaire. A proposal.”

A billionaire named John Gage (Robert Redford) makes a single offer to a couple he has just met: one million dollars for one night with the wife. David (Woody Harrelson) and Diana Murphy (Demi Moore) are married, in love, and nearly broke, which is why the offer cannot be dismissed. Adrian Lyne's film treats money as a plain question of what a marriage is worth when someone puts a number on it.
