Indignation

“Based on the novel by Philip Roth.”

Marcus Messner (Logan Lerman) is a working-class Jewish student from New Jersey who leaves home in 1951 for a small college in Ohio, partly to stay clear of the Korean War. He is out of place at once, among classmates and a dean, Caudwell (Tracy Letts), who have little patience for a boy who argues back. James Schamus follows him through his first year, a young man holding tight to his principles and unsure how much they will cost him.
