Inferno of Torture

Horihide (Teruo Yoshida) is a tattoo master in nineteenth-century Japan, working in a trade that has turned the inked geisha into a product. Europeans pay more for a tattooed beauty, and Teruo Ishii sets Horihide against a rival master, Horitatsu (Asao Koike), whose skill matches his own. In this trade a woman's skin is the thing being made and sold, and the two masters compete over who gets to cut into it.
