Innocent Sorcerers

Bazyli (Tadeusz Łomnicki) is a young doctor who wants one night with no one chasing him, after too many women have set their sights on him. Then Pelagia (Krystyna Stypułkowska) gets herself into his room and stays, and the two of them sit up talking about morals and love. Andrzej Wajda keeps them circling each other as they play at appearances, and neither can say what they feel.
