Innocents with Dirty Hands

“Savage Greed. Searing Sex. Shattering Suspense.”

Julie Wormser (Romy Schneider) lives in a villa at Saint Tropez with her husband Louis (Rod Steiger), a wealthy alcoholic she no longer wants. She and her lover Jeff Marle (Paolo Giusti), a writer and neighbour, settle on a way to be rid of him. Claude Chabrol keeps Julie at the center as Commissaire Lamy (François Maistre) starts asking where everyone was, and she has to answer on her own.
