Insiang

In the slums of Tondo, Manila, Insiang (Hilda Koronel) lives in a cramped house with her mother Tonya (Mona Lisa), who treats her more as a servant than a daughter. Lino Brocka watches the household tighten when Tonya's much younger lover Dado (Ruel Vernal) moves in. Insiang keeps working and keeps quiet, her only way out a boyfriend, Bebot (Rez Cortez), who may not be what he seems.
