Ahn Sang-goo (Lee Byung-hun), a henchman who does the dirty work for the powerful, is thrown aside by the people he served. He joins Woo Jang-hoon (Cho Seung-woo), a prosecutor hungry to climb, in a plan to take down a leading presidential candidate. Woo Min-ho, adapting Yoon Tae-ho's webtoon, makes the real target the news editor behind the candidate, Lee Kang-hee (Baek Yoon-sik), and keeps Ahn's grudge at the center.
