Insignificance
“A comedy about life, death, sex, and the Universe... relatively speaking.”
The Professor (Michael Emil) wants one thing on a hotel night in New York in 1954: to explain relativity to The Actress (Theresa Russell), who has come to his room and wants to listen. Nicolas Roeg gathers four famous figures under one roof, among them The Senator (Tony Curtis) and The Ballplayer (Gary Busey), none of whom are named. The Professor sits in his hotel room across from The Actress, and the explanation goes on.
