Insomnia

“No peace for the wicked”

A girl is found dead in a small town above the Arctic Circle, and the Swedish detective Jonas Engström (Stellan Skarsgård) is sent north with his partner Erik (Sverre Anker Ousdal) to find who did it. Erik Skjoldbjærg sets the case in a place where the sun never goes down, so there is no night to hide in. Jonas keeps working, and the light keeps him awake until he stops being sure of what he did or saw.
