Insomnia

“A tough cop. A brilliant killer. An unspeakable crime.”

A teenage girl is found dead in Nightmute, Alaska, her body cleaned and arranged with care, in a town where the sun never sets. Will Dormer (Al Pacino), a Los Angeles homicide detective, flies north to work the case alongside a young local officer, Ellie Burr (Hilary Swank). Christopher Nolan builds the film around Dormer and Walter Finch (Robin Williams), two men who understand each other too well.
