“Life doesn't care if you're ready.”

Valentín (Eugenio Derbez) is Acapulco's resident playboy, a man with no responsibilities until a former fling leaves a baby girl on his doorstep. He sets out for Los Angeles to find her mother, and the child, Maggie (Loreto Peralta), comes along. Derbez directed, co-wrote and co-produced the film as well as starring in it, and he keeps the camera close on the man who never planned to be anyone's father.
