Intermezzo

Anita Hoffman (Ingrid Bergman) teaches piano to the daughter of Holger Brandt (Gösta Ekman), a concert violinist with a wife, a son and a house of his own. Gustaf Molander lets the lessons become a love affair, and the two of them find, in the music they share, a person each had not expected to meet. It is a story about a love that arrives in the wrong life and has to be lived there anyway.
