Internal Affairs

“Trust him... he's a cop.”

In the Los Angeles Police Department, the Internal Affairs office is where cops go to investigate other cops. Raymond Avila (Andy Garcia) arrives there young and eager, and he and his partner Amy Wallace (Laurie Metcalf) start looking at Dennis Peck (Richard Gere), a senior officer whose money doesn't add up. Mike Figgis, who also scored the film, follows Avila as Peck, a charming and patient manipulator, begins turning his attention on the man who is watching him.
