Interstate 60 is a highway that appears on no map, and Neal Oliver (James Marsden), an aspiring painter, ends up driving it after a fortune-cookie wish granted by O.W. Grant (Gary Oldman), a strange man in a pale suit. Neal is headed to Danver, Colorado, hoping to find an answer to his life and a girl he can't stop thinking about. Bob Gale directs, and the road gives Neal a string of odd strangers, among them Ray (Christopher Lloyd) and Bob Cody (Chris Cooper).
