Interstellar

“Mankind was born on Earth. It was never meant to die here.”

Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a farmer and former pilot, is leaving Earth to fly through a newly discovered wormhole, with blight and famine closing in on the crops. Christopher Nolan sends him out with Brand (Anne Hathaway) and a small crew, while his daughter Murph (Jessica Chastain) stays behind on the farm. What the film is really about is the distance between a parent and a child, and how far a person will go to cross it.
