Interstellar

“Mankind was born on Earth. It was never meant to die here.”

A pilot named Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) is pulled from his farmland when NASA asks him to lead a mission through a wormhole. Brand (Anne Hathaway) and other scientists join him aboard a ship meant to find a habitable planet, leaving his daughter Murph (Jessica Chastain) behind on a dying Earth. Nolan stretches the human need to survive across galaxies and years, asking whether love across distance is what holds us together or tears us apart.
