Interview with the Vampire

“Drink from me and live forever.”

In 1791 Louisiana, Louis (Brad Pitt) is a grieving plantation owner when Lestat (Tom Cruise) turns him into a vampire. Two centuries later, in San Francisco, Louis tells it all to a reporter, Malloy (Christian Slater), who keeps pressing for more. Neil Jordan lets the story run long, and it comes down to what a man owes the loneliness he can't die out of.
