Intimate Lighting

Petr (Zdeněk Bezušek), a cellist from Prague, wants to see his old friend Bambas (Karel Blažek), the violinist who stayed behind and earns his living playing provincial funerals. He arrives in the small town on the eve of a symphony concert, and Ivan Passer fills the visit with family meals, local gossip and long, aimless evenings. Most of what these two feel about the years between them goes unsaid.
