Intimate Strangers

Anna (Sandrine Bonnaire) wants someone to hear what has gone wrong in her marriage, and she takes the wrong door to find him. Behind it sits William (Fabrice Luchini), a financial adviser who cannot bring himself to say he isn't a psychiatrist. Patrice Leconte lets their appointments settle into a ritual, and William listens, moved, to secrets no man has ever told him.
