Into the Woods

“Be careful what you wish for...”

The Baker's Wife (Emily Blunt) and her husband want a child, and the Witch (Meryl Streep) next door says a curse is the reason they have none. She will lift it if they bring her four things from the woods: a cow, a cape, a slipper, and a lock of hair. Rob Marshall sends them down the same paths as Cinderella (Anna Kendrick) and Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), and the Baker's Wife keeps going, more set on this errand than anyone around her.
