Into Thin Air: Death on Everest

On May 10, 1996, a climb up Mount Everest went wrong, and the people who were there still disagree about how. Jon Krakauer (Christopher McDonald) is on the mountain with the guided teams led by Rob Hall (Nathaniel Parker) and Scott Fischer (Peter Horton), and he is writing it all down. Robert Markowitz made this for ABC television, working from Krakauer's book and keeping the camera close on his account.
