“The great fierce battle between Godzilla, Rodan, and King Ghidorah that will sway the ruler of the Universe, Planet X!”

Astronaut Glenn (Nick Adams) is an American pilot who flies to Planet X alongside his Japanese colleague Fuji (Akira Takarada) and finds a civilization of Xiliens living underground. Their leader makes an offer: lend them Godzilla and Rodan to fight Monster Zero, and Earth gets a cure for cancer. Ishirō Honda sets the trade against flying saucers and rubber-suited monsters, while Glenn, drawn to Miss Namikawa (Kumi Mizuno), starts doubting the aliens' generosity.
