Iris Blond

“There's Something Wild About Iris Blond”

Romeo (Carlo Verdone) is a Roman musician in his forties, twenty years past his only hit, and he badly wants someone to love him. A fortuneteller promises he will find both love and money with a foreign singer named for a flower, so he follows the prediction to Brussels. Carlo Verdone sets him beside Marguerite (Andréa Ferréol), an older chanteuse who sings Jacques Brel and fusses over her yappy dog, and the two of them keep circling one another.
