Abbie (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) has been with Sam (Michiel Huisman) since they were children, and a diagnosis she never saw coming changes how she plans their future. She sets out to find the woman who will love Sam after her, since he has no idea how to date. Director Stephanie Laing follows Abbie as she keeps choosing for him, and the person she is protecting most is herself.
