Is Anybody There?

In an old folks' home, the only child around is Edward (Bill Milner), a boy whose parents run the place and whose days are spent among its residents. Then Clarence (Michael Caine), a retired magician with a temper, moves in, and the two begin a wary friendship, directed by John Crowley. Clarence has spent his life performing for strangers, and Edward is the first person in years who wants to watch.
