Island of Fire

“When you're looking for the living dead you start your search in hell!”

Wang Wei (Tony Leung Ka-fai) is a police officer who goes into a prison on an island with a plan to gather evidence against a corrupt warden. Inside, convicts are declared dead on paper and kept alive to serve as expendable assassins. Kevin Chu fills the cellblock with Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Andy Lau, and the film keeps asking who in such a place can be trusted when everyone's name is already a lie.
