İstanbul Tales

In modern-day Istanbul, five stories run alongside each other, each one borrowed from a fairytale: Snow White, Cinderella, the Pied Piper, Sleeping Beauty and Little Red Riding Hood. Directors Ömür Atay and Selim Demirdelen share the film with three others, and the cast includes Altan Erkekli as Hilmi and Özgü Namal as Şenay. The old tales give each story its outline, and the people living them in this city are left to find out how much of a fairytale still applies.
