Tata (Renata Litvinova), Misha (Aleksandr Yatsenko) and Oleg (Dmitriy Dyuzhev) are three young friends in St. Petersburg with talent, energy and a hunger for life, and no money. Aleksei Balabanov follows them as they gather in the entrance of a luxury home in the middle of the city, among people who have what they lack. The film is about how much of a friendship rests on being young and short of cash, and what it leaves behind when that changes.
