It Happened on Fifth Avenue

(1947)Directed by Roy Del Ruth116 minComedy, Romance, Music
“It's 1947's Richest Comedy!”

Every winter, Aloysius T. McKeever (Victor Moore), a drifter, slips into a Fifth Avenue mansion whose owner has left it empty for the season. This year he brings in Jim Bullock (Don DeFore), a young man with nowhere to go, and then friends of Jim's, until the house is full of people who don't belong there. Roy Del Ruth keeps the house crowded and loud, and Jim's feelings for Trudy O'Connor (Gale Storm), the owner's daughter, are the ones that matter most.
