It Lives Inside

“You can't contain evil.”

Samidha (Megan Suri) goes by Sam at her suburban high school, where all she wants is to blend in, so she skips her mother Poorna's (Neeru Bajwa) rituals and keeps her family at arm's length. When her former best friend Tamira (Mohana Krishnan) turns up changed, a demonic spirit from Indian mythology that feeds on loneliness has followed her. Bishal Dutta builds the story around a girl who has to claim the culture she was ashamed of before it is too late.
